Place: Granaries – 7-11 Grodzka Street

The exhibition follows a chronological and thematic order to present the administrative, territorial and urban changes that have taken part in Bydgoszcz, as well as the economic, cultural, social and academic life of the city. Content-rich boards illustrate the evolution of the city's identity over the centuries from a small fortified settlement to a major urban centre of Poland. This shows the history of Bydgoszcz as an ongoing process of dynamic creation, and its present-day image as a collaborative project run by generations of the city's residents.
