District Museum takes over the Pharmacy Museum collections

On April 26 this year, the city council of Bydgoszcz decided to grant a subsidy worth one million złoty to the Leon Wyczółkowski District Museum so that it could purchase the collections of the “Pod Łabędziem” Pharmacy Museum.

On April 27, a preliminary agreement was signed with Mrs. Teresa Wodyńska from the “Pod Łabędziem” Pharmacy Spółka Jawna Teresa Wodyńska i Wojciech Plachy, which allows the employees of the District Museum to begin compiling an inventory of the museum's holdings. This decision will save a unique collection comprising over eight thousand objects and will keep it available to visitors.
