Dear Friends of our Museum,

We have another good news for you. Thanks to the development and implementation of appropriate forms of security, we can open three further branches of the Museum for visitors. Since Tuesday, May 19, we will be able to invite you to the Granaries on the Brda River, the Gallery of Modern Art and the European Money Center.

In Granaries,
except the permanent historical exhibition "From Old Market Square to Wolności Square. Walking the streets of interwar Bydgoszcz”, you will be able to visit a temporary exhibition presenting the life of Bydgoszcz residents and events that led to the inclusion of the city on the Brda River within the borders of an independent Polish state - "Towards Freedom. Bydgoszcz 1914-1920". The "Bydgoszcz Treasury" is waiting for you in the European Money Center; while in the odern Art Gallery the most representative works from the collection of the Bydgoszcz museum in the field of painting, sculpture, artistic photography and new media.

In the absence of the possibility of visiting the Museum from March 12 especially for you we extend the exhibition "Masters", where you can find works by artists whose names
have permanently entered the history of art from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century.

Each of our branches, due to the variety of specificities, will be available under certain conditions and marked out sightseeing paths again. All this to be able to provide you with the greatest possible security.
At The Leon Wyczółkowski District Museum in Bydgoszcz sanitary procedures are in accordance with the rules prevailing in other public places. Walking is possible only with a protective mask covering the nose and mouth and with maintaining a safe social distance (2 meters). At the entrance to the building, the Museum staff will indicate where to disinfect your hands, and at your request will also provide disposable gloves. Each building can have a limited number of people at the same time. To visit the exhibitions we invite individual guests from Tuesday to Sunday between 11.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. We are temporarily suspending tours by organized groups.
The new visiting regulations can be found on the Museum's website. [Click]

Unfortunately, we still can't organize meetings, educational classes or exhibition vernissages for you, but we encourage you to continue to visit us in a virtual form via the website and social networking sites.
We are glad that after such a long break we will be able to meet you at the exhibitions.

See you on Tuesday!

Directorate and Team
The Leon Wyczółkowski District Museum in Bydgoszcz
