We are happy to announce that year 2012, was declared, by Local Authorities in Bydgoszcz, to be year of Leon Wyczółkowski. In 2012 we are going to celebrate 160th anniversary of the birth of Wyczółkowski and 75th anniversary of bequeathing to Bydgoszcz City by Franciszka (painter’s widow), works, souvenirs and equipment from artist’s atelier. Dr Michał F. Woźniak – Director of the Leon Wyczółkowski District Museum – is  coordinator of the project
